I was born deaf. I didn't know it at the time, of course. I thought everyone else heard the world the way I did: as a cacophony of sounds that made no sense.

It wasn't until I was three years old that my parents finally realized that I wasn't hearing them. They took me to the doctor, who confirmed their fears: I was deaf.

My parents were devastated. They didn't know how they were going to raise a deaf child. They didn't know how I was going to learn to communicate. They didn't know how I was going to live a normal life.

But my parents didn't give up on me. They enrolled me in a special school for deaf children, where I learned to communicate using sign language. I also learned how to read and write, and how to use my other senses to compensate for my lack of hearing.

As I grew older, I began to realize that my deafness was not a disability. It was simply a different way of experiencing the world. I learned to embrace my deafness, and I began to see it as a gift.

I met my husband, John, when I was in college. He was also deaf, and we immediately bonded over our shared experiences. We fell in love quickly, and we were married a year later.

John and I have been together for over 20 years now, and we have two beautiful children. Our lives haven't always been easy, but we've always faced our challenges together, and we've always come out stronger on the other side.

Love Falls on Deaf Ears and Hears Clearly is my story. It's a story of love, loss, and triumph. It's a story about the challenges of being deaf, but it's also a story about the joy and fulfillment that can be found in life, even when things don't always go according to plan.

I hope that my story will inspire others who are facing challenges in their own lives. I hope that it will show them that it is possible to overcome adversity, and that love can truly conquer all.
